The construction of an additional floor on top of a heritage listed building located on Kent Street. This building was fully tenanted during construction and all materials handling had to be lifted in 3 different nights with a 130T crane that involved closing Kent Street in the city. With timber floors throughout the building, the major issue was ensuring that the rain did not affect tenants below. Overhead protection was constructed on the seventh floor by the use of needles which supported the required scaffold. A new stair case was constructed between the floors.
