Over the weekend, Construction Profile has added yet another tower crane to the skies of the Sydney CBD.
Months of planning paid off when the crane went up without a hitch. However, success was far from guaranteed on the eve of the installation when very wet weather was forecast for the weekend; but then mother nature gave us a break right when we needed it. With the help of the very professional crew of Cosmo Cranes and our own John Amos and Pia Vidal, we were able to call it a day after about six hours.
The standing of the tower crane marks a significant milestone in our construction of Calibre in Surry Hills, a luxury residential development by property group, ICON Oceania.
We look forward to continuing the good progress made with Koichi Takada Architects and project manager, Root Partnerships.
