Fitout of Construction Profile’s head office on Great Buckingham Street in Redfern, Sydney.
The fitout was carried out within a building that was constructed between 1887 and 1889 for manufacturers and retailers, A Hordern and Sons.
The site is historically significant for its connection to Australian manufacturing of furniture, mattresses, bath tubs, pressed metal ceilings, clothing and a large variety of household goods by Hordern and Sons from the late-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century. A truly creative space with the fitout specifically designed to maintain a lot of the original heavy masonry and timber construction.
